Apollinaria born in Belarus in 1994. She has graduated from 2 art schools and received professional education as a graphic designer at the Glebov Art College in Minsk. For more than 10 years she has been working in IT industry as a product designer. For 4.5 years she has been involved in the creation and development of her own private design school in Minsk in the areas of UI UX and graphic design. In parallel she creates projects in illustration and art.

ARTIST STATEMENT
A line and its movement that forms a simple shape: smooth or geometric. Then, by adding a bright colour, the shape comes to life. The crossing of brightly coloured shapes forms a composition, each object exactly where it should be. The coordinated play of stylised animate and inanimate objects forms a unified idea-picture.
Working with bright colours, adding complex tones in some places, playing with composition and control form is something that fascinates me immensely. I can spend hours ‘playing' with composition, fitting the idea of a painting into stylised forms. Periodically adding geometric texture to simple shapes.
I simultaneously explore two themes: the deeper aspects of relationships between partners and people in general, as well as self-discovery of myself as an individual. In addition, I look for interesting ways to depict commonplace objects and animals, what surrounds us in everyday life.
The stylised-illustrative style in my work shows at once my education and experience as a graphic designer and illustrator. By removing all unnecessary details, I try to focus the viewer on the most important thing—what is the idea and message in the work, and also give the opportunity to enjoy a concise and clearly verified composition, play with bright colours.
